For those of you we didn't tell on the weekend, Team Canberra is calling it quit's. I would like to thank all those that have helped us over the past 3 years, it made the racing all the more enjoyable. Thanks to TEKA and all associated past and present in the running of a fantastic series. We have several reasons for calling it a day, some out of our control but mainly the time has come to go onto other things so that leaves a kart for sale and everything that goes with it, all has to go, you get everything except the trailer.
Kart is very relaible and goes better than the drivers could, ran in the top 3 in B grade at Newcastle all day and finished in the top 10 outright after starting at the back of the grid.
- Birel Chasis (2002 build, I think)
- 2 Honda motors tagged and ready to go (1 less than 12 months old and done 4 rounds)
- 1 spare Honda jap motor (has broken head bolt)
- 2 full sets of rims
- 3 sets of used slicks, one set has only 2 hours of use
- 1 set wets - new
- 5 spare stub axles
- New side pod brackets
- Spare wet weather steering wheel
- Mycron
- Dent brakes (12 months old) Freeline master cylinder, with spare set of pads
- Spare clutchs, bells, sprokets and chains
- Throttle linkages
- 2 Mufflers
- Trolley
- 12 kilo seat insert with approved connections
- Tyre bead breaker
- All bearings new this year (only done 2 rounds)
The lot for $3,000 (thats it, not going any lower!)
