After getting some great feedback from our 2011 survey and looking forward to our 2012 Series several changes will be implemented to help make our already great series even better!
2012 TEKA CLASSES:
With a large number of new and existing teams moving into the Briggs and Stratton Class the folowing changes need to be made:
3 Classes for 2012
- 2 Briggs Classes (A & B)
- 1 Honda Class.
Briggs A Grade will have the normal Red plates and White numbers, Briggs B Grade will run White plates and Red numbers, and the Honda Class will continue to run the current Yellow plates and Black Numbers.
2012 NEW POINT SYSTEM:
New point score effective 2012 will be as follows:
- 20 Points for entering each event.
- DNF points will be rewarded to karts that finish at least 75% of the race.
- DNF points will be HALF the points of the lowest placed kart in YOUR division.
Race points will be the same as the 2011 system, i.e. 1st place gets 40 points,
2nd get 39 etc.
